Hawks Nest Accommodation

Hawks Nest Accommodation has been a much loved getaway for visitors who love coastal vibe, beach life, watersports, fishing, boating, hiking and brilliant surf with a choice of gorgeous local beaches and river settings.

Getting there is so easy, turning off the Pacific Highway 2.5 hours north of Sydney,  it’s only another 30 minutes to Tea Gardens, then drive over the bridge into the hamlet of Hawks Nest with its bustling community, cafes, surf shops and all amenities a town could want.

Explore the town’s charming waterfront, where cafes and restaurants line the streets, or embark on a scenic river cruise along the tranquil waters of the Myall River. With nearby attractions like the Myall Lakes National Park and pristine beaches, Tea Gardens offers a perfect blend of coastal charm and outdoor adventure, ensuring a memorable stay with Travellarks.

Tea Gardens is the gateway to the Myall Lakes National Park with waterways and its wondrous eco life to discover. The local surf beach is known as Bennetts Beach, popular with board riders and body surfers who congregate at its southern end known as The Dolphins Playground. This beach is patrolled. Pet lovers will be pleased to know dogs can be walked on leads only, between certain times on this beach and Yacaaba.

Explore the tranquil waters of the Myall River on a scenic river cruise, spotting dolphins and birdlife along the way. Visit the nearby Myall Lakes National Park for bushwalking, kayaking, and picnicking amidst pristine landscapes. Relax on the sandy shores of Hawks Nest Beach or enjoy a round of golf at the Hawks Nest Golf Club. Discover the region’s rich Aboriginal heritage at the Worimi Conservation Lands, where you can learn about traditional culture and explore ancient sand dunes. With its diverse range of attractions, Tea Gardens promises a memorable and enjoyable getaway for all visitors in a Travellarks accommodation.

The  Hawks Nest Surf Club lies three kilometres from Yacaaba Headland, at the southern end. There is a rugged track to the top of Yaccaba which offers stunning views north and south.

Travellarks acknowledges the Worimi people as First Australians of the region.
