Things to do around Jervis Bay, NSW

Things to do NSW-Travellarks-Jervis Bay

Jervis Bay has 70 sq km of the whitest sands in the world with 16 beautiful beaches stretching out under big blue skies. With an average annual temp of 20 degrees, Jervis Bay offers all year round holiday weather and plenty of things to do.

Dive into its aquamarine clear water and snorkel, sail, paddle board or fish to your heart’s content. Whale watch too (when migrating) or spot bottlenose dolphins, little penguins, sea dragons and fur seals at the Jervis Bay Marine Park – all the way from Kinghorne Point to Sussex Inlet. This stretch of paradise is brimming with wild-life.

Swim at glorious spots around Huskisson, Vincentia and Callala. The most famous beach is Hyams especially at sunrise and sunset but other voted favourites include Blenheim, Moona Moona, Nelson, Cave, Greenfield, Collingwood or the tranquil calm of Murrays. For those looking for more hideaway places, try Hole In The Wall, Dee, Chinaman’s, Orion and Barfleur.

You’ll enjoy a cool drink in any of 15 wineries, or great boutique breweries, perfect after a long coastal walk. Jervis Bay is 3 hours drive south of Sydney.
