Things to do around Culburra Beach

Culburra-Beach-Things-To-Do-Travellarks-South-Coast

A life of relaxation and water and adventure activities is what you’ll find at Culburra Beach, in the beautiful Shoalhaven region of the NSW South Coast. It’s surrounded by beaches, lake, river, ocean and national park so the things to do here are endless.

Culburra is the Tharawal Aboriginal word meaning, “sand” and there’s plenty of it, with the beaches between Culburra Surf Beach and Warrain Beach. These are both popular surfing and fishing spots, but it’s a playground for everyone including dogs and horses.

Spend your time in this relaxed, coastal town of Culburra Beach exploring the sparkling blue waterways by paddle board, boat or kayak or enjoying excellent seaside cafes/restaurants, galleries of brilliant local artists, or hike to your hearts content to discover hidden gems. Your fur babies can frolic till their hearts content too!

Culburra beach is a cruisy 2 hours 40 min south of Sydney and 2 hours 50 mins from Canberra.
