Escape to Foxglove Gardens River Cottage, part of a trio of luxury cottages nestled in five acres of exquisite gardens, featured in Better Homes and Gardens and the book Velvet Pears. This adults-only retreat offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle, surrounded by nature’s chorus instead of children’s laughter. No squealing little whirlwinds tearing up the gravel. You’ll hear instead the chorus of bird song, the running creek. On the other hand, your small furry companion is welcome, with approval (terms & conditions apply).

FRENCH PROVINCIAL STYLE:

Each cottage, styled in charming French provincial décor, provides a serene haven for solo travellers or couples. Located at the foothills of Mt. Dromedary, it’s just a 6-minute drive from secluded Tilba Beach, blending luxury with natural beauty.

Olive Tree Cottage features a sumptuous Queen size bed on the mezzanine level, adorned with crisp white linens and a luxurious quilt. A cosy lounge and separate kitchenette/breakfast nook overlook the garden and creek. The bathroom boasts a Victoria Albert claw bath, perfect for indulgent soaks in candlelight, complemented by a grand cathedral ceiling that enhances the allure. Inside, the calming colour palettes and French Provincial furnishings create a serene atmosphere. Sink into buttery soft European bed linens for a dreamy night’s sleep, before waking up to a scrumptious breakfast. Equally important dietary options are available and ordered in advance.

In Tilba village, you’ll be lulled by it all as you dip in and out of chic little shops. Lick your lips around the creamiest milkshakes you’ve ever tasted and chat to some of the best cheesemakers and leather artisans in the country. And then, fill your basket with fresh produce and baked goodies from the Growers Market and sprawl yourself out in the Tilba sunshine to picnic. And don’t forget the wine, and another dreamy sleep. And if you fancy salt and sea foam on your smile, there’s always beach horse riding too!

In addition, Foxglove Gardens offers a world of choices. Fairy tale like gardens, 5 minutes to wine and dine at Tilba Winery and Alehouse and a stone’s throw from the Cheese Factory and historic Tilba village.
