Nestled in Seal Rocks  on the NSW north coast, this retreat invites guests to embrace easy-going beach days and a laid-back coastal lifestyle.

Accommodating up to 7 guests, Fishcakes is designed for families, evoking nostalgia for carefree Australian beach vacations. Inspired by Balinese architecture, the property features interconnected open-air pavilions surrounding a wind-protected courtyard. Inside, soothing textiles and handcrafted furniture create an atmosphere of calm. Kids will enjoy complimentary books and toys, while adults can find tranquility on the provided yoga mat. After a day of exploration, relax with all linens and towels supplied, and enjoy entertainment on the 50-inch HDTV equipped with Apple TV, Disney+, Netflix, and premium cable, all with complimentary Wi-Fi.

Situated just a five-minute stroll from the beach, Fishcakes is the perfect base for exploring the area’s natural beauty. Take a leisurely walk to the Seal Rocks Lighthouse, or enjoy a spot of fishing with complimentary rods at your disposal. With friendly waves at nearby spots like Lighthouse and Treachery, you’ll love the stunning ocean views from the seafront windows. In the evenings, gather around the combustion fireplace for warmth and intimate moments.

The open kitchen features a gas cooktop, outdoor Weber BBQ, and microwave—though there is no oven, keeping life simple. A freezer is available downstairs, and the fireplace ensures cosy winter nights, with firewood provided.

As you ascend the stairs, the house reveals its charm, allowing you to leave the world behind for a few days or even a month. Located at the far end of Boat Beach, it’s conveniently near the Sugarloaf Point Lighthouse walk.
