THE EXPERIENCE:

Welcome to Bombah Point Eco Cottages—a serene retreat nestled among the trees, perfect for up to SIX guests with access to unpopulated beaches, tea tree lakes and majestic sand dunes within the adjacent national park. Imagine stepping through glass doors onto a wrap-around veranda, where you can savour breathtaking views of 100 acres of pristine bushland. This private haven invites you to enjoy evening barbecues, leisurely afternoons in the hammock, and magical sunsets – a nature lover’s paradise that blends luxury with comfort.

Each of Bombahs’ Eco Cottages for 6 guests (there’s five cottages for 5 guests and one cottage only for 6), all feature a cosy Queen bedroom and an open-plan loft with a double and single bed configuration, making it ideal for families or groups. Relax and curl up in-front of the log fire, utilise the fully equipped kitchen, and unwind in your rainwater spa with a glass of bubbly. (Bombah by the way, is BYO and organic wines are available).

What’s for lunch? Explore the Myall Lakes with a morning paddle or bike ride, then dive into local farms, bakeries, oyster farms. An abundance of local providores ensures you won’t go hungry. If you’re travelling from the south, stop by in Karuah at Fat Uncle’s Oysters or grab some fresh, organic delights backed by experienced aquaculture farmers. And when dinner time rolls around, consider local oysters. Myall prawns, lobster, sea mullet & flathead from the charming ol’school Tea Gardens Fish Shop.Alternatively, you can pre-order organic meals from ‘‘Farm to Fridge’ that your hosts can arrange for you.

As night falls, enjoy stargazing in the pristine night sky. Or grab some herbs from the permaculture gardens to complete your gourmet meal of local produce served under the stars. Bombah Point Eco Cottages are built on sustainable principles that prioritise the preservation of nature with a real commitment to sustainability, with composting and rainwater collection.

For those seeking fun, take advantage of the complimentary communal facilities and games room, along with free access to equipment for children. Be sure to ask your hosts about current workshops, such as sourdough making, Aboriginal experiences, or woodwork, and consider treating yourself to a massage available at an additional cost.
